He married Mary Anne ALDERTON in Sydney, N.S.W., Australia, 18 March 1893. Mary was born in Sydney, N.S.W., Australia 25 July 1869. Mary was the daughter of John ALDERTON and Euphemia SMALE. She made a will in Sydney, N.S.W., Australia, 4 October 1952.
He served in the military during war time July 1915 in Egypt, France and Belgium. He made a will in Sydney, N.S.W., Australia, 4 March 1916.
Herman NELSON-SLEE and Mary Anne ALDERTON had the following children:

Victoria, Australia, at 82 years of age. She married Arthur Kirke DYSON-HOLLAND in Enfield, N.S.W.,
Australia, 6 June 1928. Arthur was born in Latrobe, Tasmania, Australia 1894. Arthur was the son of George
Harold Willisden DYSON-HOLLAND and Lilias Francis MACARTHUR. Arthur died 1963 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, at 69
years of age. He served in the military during war time 11 June 1917 in France. (See Arthur
